Influenced by the reverent spirit of Día de los Muertos and the emotional depth of storytelling, her art explores memory not as mourning, but as honor. Skulls become symbols of devotion. Roses carry resilience. Every composition reflects beauty that has endured something.

Based in New York’s Finger Lakes region, Shawn lives among vineyards, waterfalls, and open water — landscapes that offer both stillness and power. She spends her time walking the lake, swimming beneath falling water, and drawing inspiration from the natural beauty that surrounds her, even as she feels deeply called to the raw openness of the desert.

Before dedicating herself fully to her creative work, Shawn served as a prison counselor, addiction counselor, and care manager. Those years shaped her understanding of resilience, consequence, redemption, and human complexity. That depth is present in everything she creates.

Her creative world extends beyond the canvas. As a songwriter and producer, Shawn approaches music the same way she approaches visual art — layered, emotional, intentional. The throughline in all of her work is authenticity. Nothing is created for trend. Everything is created from truth.

Married to Ignazio and deeply rooted in family, her work carries both fire and devotion.

Art has always been how I process life — the beauty, the grief, the strength, the survival, and the love that carries us through it all.

My work is rooted in contrast. Light and shadow. Life and remembrance. Strength and softness. Many of my pieces are inspired by Día de los Muertos symbolism — not as darkness, but as reverence. As celebration. As a reminder that memory is sacred and love doesn’t disappear.

Every design you see here is created with intention. I don’t make art just to decorate a wall — I create pieces that feel something. That honor resilience. That carry a little fire and a little tenderness at the same time.

Music is woven into my creative world as well. Whether I’m writing country-soul stories or blues-inspired tracks, the heart of it is the same: truth. My songs and my artwork are reflections of lived experience — family, faith, struggle, healing, and the quiet strength that grows through all of it.
